R. L. Muylaert

In 2025, Dr Renata Muylaert joined the Disease Ecology Lab at the University of Sydney as a Research Associate, where she investigates the links between biodiversity and emerging infectious diseases at the human–domestic–wildlife interface. She also co-leads the Ecosystem and Human Health Thematic Group of the IUCN Commission on Ecosystem Management (2022–2025), supporting international efforts to integrate conservation and public health through ecosystem-based approaches.
